The FIRST Thursday of each month is the place to be for ALL St. Peter’s men! Best breakfast in town, teachings on the Bible, guest speakers, small group “table” conversations and fellowship will kick-start your day with fellow parishioners. Bring a friend!

April 4: Scott Hunter, Lead Pastor, Genesis Church, Tallahassee:
Scott Hunter is the driving force in forming and developing the Genesis Church since it began a decade ago. Scott’s innovative mind, tireless work ethic, caring personality, and extensive ministry experience is critical to the success of the Genesis Church. He will share the orthodox congregational beliefs as they reach out to the unchurched. In addition he will discuss with us his walk with Christ and the development of the church.  

Very much a part Genesis is Scott’s lovely wife Tabitha.  They have two wonderful daughters, Adison and Ella.

Come for great food and fellowship at 6:45 am in the St. Peter’s Parish Hall, be inspired and, as always, you’ll be out by 8:00 am!

Our speaker will be Robert C. “Budd” Kneip, Ph.D, Chief of Staff, Dept. Of Financial Services. Budd will share how his faith has played a key role in the incredible events he has accomplished as a business executive, a senior state government officer and the successful starting of a new church in south Florida. Budd and his wife Cindy are members of St. Peters.

Who’s up for the challenge?
That’s the question from this month’s speaker. Scott Beigle had a dream from his earliest days in college of one day beginning his own radio ministry. It would not come to pass until he was 41 years of age. Scott's and wife, Brenda's mission is, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." Philippians 4:8-9. So how much faith does it take? Scott asks.

Fr. Petty will be talking about the Anglican Church of North America – the formation, the current issues and the future of the organization. Following his remarks there will be an open discussion session during which time Fr. Michael will add insight into the key issues being managed by Archbishop Duncan.

Topic: He's Working It Out for Your Good - Romans 8:28.  Once Florida State Trooper of the Year 1989, Tony will focus on life as a Police Officer, Prisoner and now Preacher.  He will cover the importance of choices good and bad and the resulting costs.

Committed Leader and industrialist Larry Strom likes to say, "Do the right thing at the right time." That's why Larry has had a vision of progress for the ever growing automobile industry. What began almost 50 years ago after graduating from Florida State University has become his passion, cars and FSU sports! In 1945 he became a member of the Kingdom of God and has had the joy of having Christ guide him ever since. Today he will share his message with us, “Christ in you, the Hope of Glory”

In the Anglican tradition January 6 is celebrated as Epiphany. Epiphany is the climax of the Advent/Christmas Season and the Twelve Days of Christmas. The term epiphany means "to show" or "to make known" or even "to reveal." In the Anglican Church we remember the coming of the wise men bringing gifts to visit the Christ child, who by so doing "reveal" Jesus to the world as Lord and King.
