St. Peter's shield - small About Children's Ministry

Children’s Ministry is a vital part of the life of St. Peter’s. Children’s Ministry provides education, fellowship and support for families and children from birth to 5th grade. The journey begins with the Early Years Ministry as we strive to support families who are just starting their families through those formative toddler years. When children reach age 3 or 4, our families move seamlessly from Early Years programs into Children’s Ministry programs like Sunday School and Wednesday night programs.

During Sunday services, we offer God-centered childcare for children from birth through age 4. Our professional staff is committed to providing a warm, nurturing environment with Bible stories, music and fellowship.

The Early Years Ministry is the result of the growth and success of our Mom to Mom program. Mom to Mom was originally created in February of 2011 to support women who were seeking to get pregnant, suffered miscarriage, struggled with infertility, were pregnant or in the exciting days of caring for a baby or toddler. Early Years encompasses all that and more!

This summer as we all meet together for Sunday School, we will focus on the Bible, God's Word. Each week we will discover answers to the question, "Why is the Bible important?" Along the way, we'll have lots of games, crafts, and adventures to help us see how exciting God's Word really is. Please come join us -- and if you've got a Bible, bring it with you! Simply follow the crucifer to the back of the Church during the recessional hymn at the 9 am service. Then proceed down the back staircase and directly to the parish hall, where we will be meeting as a group this summer. 
 

St. Peter's shield - small Wednesday Nights - Faithweaver Friends

June 5 - July 31
5:45-7:30 pm, Parish Hall

Our Wednesday Night Program is a wonderful opportunity for your children to be spiritually replenished mid-week. Faithweaver Friends is a weekly Biblically-based program. From toddlers to fifth graders, bible points are delivered in an age-appropriate ways. Each week there are activities for parents to use with their children at home to further strengthen those lessons.

July 15-July 19

Learn the jawdropping story of the Apostle Paul straight from Paul himself! In an ancient “anything goes” culture, Paul will inspire kids to share the truth of God’s immeasurable love today!
