Let's Make It Happen In May!

Five years ago, we began a prayerful process to create a vision of a new church home for St. Peter’s and to raise the funds necessary to make that vision a reality. Through the generosity of our members, we have existing commitments of $5.4 million and the ability to responsibly borrow up to $1.5 million. That leaves us only $1 million short of the funds we need to begin construction.

I would ask you to prayerfully consider a ONE-YEAR pledge beginning in September of 2012 and ending in August 2013. If everyone in the parish makes this additional pledge in the fullest way possible, I have no doubt that we can close this gap.

With God’s grace, we can make it happen in May!

New Church Features:
35,688 total square feet
Church seating for 800
Multi-purpose classrooms
Parish hall and kitchen
Choir room
Staff offices
Columbaria
Cost Overview
Pledges $5.4M
Amount to Borrow $1.6M
Still to be raised $1.0M
Total Estimated Cost $8.0M

M = "Million"

Welcome to St. Peter's!  We think the strengths of this church reside in: reverent and beautiful worship, our warm fellowship, rigorous Christian education, and passionate service. Our doors are wide open to you. Again, welcome to our church!

Make It Happen In May!
Dear Fellow Parishioner: If you were in worship with us on Easter Sunday you know that we have taken another important step toward building the new church!  The Capital Campaign Committee will launch one last effort to raise the needed money for our new church: “Make It Happen In May.” The Vestry has said that if we raise a full million in commitments by June 1st we will move forward with breaking ground in September of this year, allowing us to worship in the new church on Christmas Eve, 2013!
