Flooding in Uganda

The Diocese of South Rwenzori, whose Bishop provided St. Peter’s with structural oversight after leaving the Episcopal Church in 2005, was ravaged by flooding on May 1 after a long, heavy downpour of rain. Every river in the Diocese burst its banks and wrought destruction on roads, gardens, and homes. Five people have been confirmed dead and 3,000 people have been displaced from their homes. Bishop Jackson Nzerebende is appealing for support.   In the USA, the Anglican Relief and Development Fund is receiving online tax-deductible contributions towards relief efforts. A link and more information follows.

Winter-Spring Program Guide

Download The Winter-Spring 2013 Program Guide for everything happening at St. Peter's from January - May, 2013.

This Spring our theme is LAYING A FOUNDATION. Now that the ground for the new church has been broken, we are busily at work pouring concrete, erecting retaining walls, establishing steel supports. . . . [B]efore those beautiful walls and towers can go up, we have to have a solid foundation. Without the foundation, the church will not stand! ... Through all the opportunities represented in this Winter/Spring brochure, God is extending His hand to us once again that we might find our strength in Him.
